We are working with a 100+ bedroom hotel in the Sutton Coldfiled area who are looking for their next talented senior sous chef. They have a fantastic 2AA rosette restaurant, large banqueting suite and busy lounge bar.
The sous chef position will be predominately working in the award winning restaurant, overseeing service to ensure the high standards are being acheived at all times and training the team to the standards required. The position will also involve covering the head chef on their days off and leading the service when sending large functions, alongside usual kitchen mangement duties and seasonal menu changes.
The job is working 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, straight shifts. Usual shifts either 9-6pm or 1-10pm. Lots of training opportunities and employee benefits including meals on duty, uniform and hotel discounts.
If you have previous sous chef experience working within a large hotel and have had experience working with quality restaurant menu's then this is the job for you.
