The role
As a Signalling Installer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will assist the Senior Installer/Technician to achieve their duties as required in a safe and responsible manner.
Day to day, you will undertake work as directed, ensuring acceptable productivity and workmanship of all team members which may include agency / sub-contractors on site. You will also ensure that all work complies with current quality and group/line standards.

2. Ensure all work is carried out taking due cognisance of personal safety and safety of colleagues.
3. Ensure all site operations are carried out, and in accordance with standards.
4. Use power tools and portable plant where certified to do so.
5. To work independently as required.
Essential experience of the Signalling Installer,
- Considerable S&T (Signalling & Telecoms) work experience.
- Signalling modules SMTH, Mod 3C, Mod 5 desirable.
- Able to drive or willing to learn.
- NIR PTS.
- TSC desirable.
- Basic electrical knowledge and good mechanical skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- IRSE Licensed or working towards.
