The Ship Control Instructor role is based within our Marine Training business area.

The role

The difference our new Ship Control Instructor will make

As a Ship Control Instructor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll deliver Astute Class ship control training to current and next generation of Submarine professionals.

Day to day, you'll provide subject matter expertise and input into the analysis and solution development for technical change to the existing product and to provide advice in support to Marine Training's projects.

This role is based Onsite in Faslane, Helensburgh.

Essential experience
Comprehensive knowledge and recent experience of operating Astute class Ship Control systems, as a qualified Ship Control Officer of the Watch.
Experience of Submarine Control Room management
Qualification as an Operations or Weapons Engineering Warrant Officer/Senior Rating
You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
