The role

As a Shift Maintenance Controller, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll ensure excellent and consistent customer service delivery across the Service Desk.

Day to day, you'll be working in a small team who handle all inbound calls for Metropolitan Police regarding anything vehicle related. Whether they are at the roadside or at the station. Outbound calls are made to workshops and suppliers to chase up jobs, fitters, tyres, locksmiths etc.
Ensure that telephone calls are dealt with promptly and efficiently, ensuring that Call Targets and Quality Targets are met
Ensure the Fleet Management System is fully updated at all times, reviewing alerts monitors, job monitors and ensuring comments are placed on jobs as required
Act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely ensuring tasks are achieved within the set time-scales
Maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers

Essential experience of the Shift Maintenance Controller,
Previous experience in a customer call centre
Experience of managing issues effectively via telephone/email
Experience in high demand Customer Service
Experience of working remotely / providing a support service remotely

This is a full time role and will be a mix of working at our Park Royal site and home working.

Shifts will be 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, 2 dayshifts and 2 nightshifts. - Including weekends and holidays such as Christmas and Bank Holidays 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.

Qualifications for the Shift Maintenance Controller,
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
