The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Service Sales Representative to cover the North East region.
The successful candidate will grow the BID Group service portfolio by selling planned maintenance contracts along with professional services, creating awareness of company and products, developing long term relationships, and searching out and converting new maintenance contract opportunities across within the designated territory.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Developing a positive relationship with all customers.
* Working to the set KPI’s for service Planned Preventative Maintenance growth.
* Prospecting/ cold calling to grow the service portfolio within the designated territory.
* Working closely with and providing product Sales Representatives with leads relating to company premium products.
* Organising planned customer visits with the product Sales Representatives.
* Maintain awareness of competitive activity.
* Establish and maintain an ongoing relationship with engineers in the field, assisting and supporting them where required.
* Assisting the Marketing function with campaigns to promote brand awareness and generate service growth.
* Meeting given targets for new service contracts.
* Maintaining all relevant databases and ensuring regular reports are produced and distributed as per the guidelines.
* Validating customer orders to ensure correct terms and conditions, quality and safety.
* Handing over new contracts to installation, maintenance and/or engineering with complete and correct information.
* Assisting the finance function in debt chasing where required.
The Candidate
We are looking for a customer focused, creative, well organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is a team player with a sympathetic mind and desire to succeed. With a technical or commercial background, we are looking for a minimum of 2 years sales experience, with experience in selling to end users. The successful applicant must be willing to travel and to stay overnight when applicable.

Local Depot: Cramlington
Salary: Dependent upon skills and experience (To be discussed on the next stage)
Hours Of Work: Basic 40-hour week, 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. (Field/Remote working)
