Senior Sous chef -Luxury Hotel Rosette Standard -£35k+Tips

Role Overview:

Job title: Senior Sous chef

Location: Brighton - outskirts, Sussex

Contract type: Permanent - full time

Salary: up to £35, 000 P/A - depending on experience + tips

Hours: 50 hours a week,

Shifts: 4 or 5 days a week - 2 full days off , 1 weekend off each month , Christmas off

The Role:

  • Managing the kitchen in Head chefs absence
  • Ensuring food safety and health & hygiene at all times
  • To assist in the preparation & planning of menu ideas
  • To prepare and cook food to a required quality standard
  • To train & develop the team

The Requirements:

  • To be organised in your tasks and prioritise your work
  • Proven skills as a Chef in a fresh food led kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of all Food Safety practises, to include HACCP, COSHH
  • Ability to work well in team and have a clear set target for personal achievements
