Senior Sous Chef

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Sous Chef in South East London


This position will be ideal for someone who would be interested in developing their career towards Chef Manager.

37.5 hours per week, working shifts are between 6am and 4.30pm


Duties will include:

- managing a team of 8 (chefs and kitchen porters)
- running a busy kitchen that covers 2 hospital wards
- organising and controlling all aspects of catering operations
- supervising the production of meals to the required standards
- ensuring the food meets the highest quality
- ordering food
- carrying out reasonable requests from the manager

Candidate will have:

- previous experience as a chef/sous chef
- hospital experience desirable
- people management experience
- level 3 in customer service desirable
- knowledge and understanding of financial aspects
- client facing experience
