The role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be working within our Rail Translink business area. We're working to deliver multi-million pound rail projects in Northern Ireland through our partnership with the rail operator, Translink.

Day to day, you'll be accountable for the commercial administration of a contract (or contracts), ensuring compliance with the contract terms and conditions and company and group policies, procedures and delegated authorities.
Cost control and forecasting;
Cash collection (original scope, change control and claims);
Change control management;
Claims management (time and cost);
Sub-contract procurement and account administration;
Contractual notifications (delay, loss and/or expense, practical completion, etc.); and
Contract close-out/final account.

Essential experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
Experienced in delivering contracts with value up to £10m
Effective communicator (written and verbal) and experience in negotiation
3+ years in a Quantity Surveying role

This role is hybrid and can be done three days in one of our Belfast offices and two days at home.

Qualifications for the Quantity Surveyor
BSc (hons) in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent qualification
