The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role is based within our Mission Systems business area.

The role
The difference our new Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will make
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The key focus of this role is to support the delivery of one of our most important contracts on time, to the right quality and to the planned cost. You'll be part of a Project Quality team, and work day to day within an integrated project team.
Day to day, you'll provide advice, guidance and support to the business on all matters related to quality, ensuring outputs meet customer and regulatory requirements in a timely manner.

Essential experience
ONC, HNC or NVQ Level 3 qualification in a quality, science, engineering discipline
A proficient quality assurance engineer with experience in a related industry and be familiar with how quality applies throughout a product or service delivery lifecycle.
Previous customer-facing roles or experience is beneficial
Experience of auditing quality ISO9001 management systems
An excellent working knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving techniques, and be able to provide guidance to others in their use (e.g. Pareto, FMEA, 5 why's, 8D, etc.)
You must be able to achieve SC security clearance
