An exciting opportunity to work at Pertemps Head Office in Meriden as a Payroll Senior. Pertemps Head office is a beautiful Manor House with free access to gym, squash courts, steam room and many more benefits. The salary is from £25,000 to £25,600 with an attendance bonus.
The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years' experience working as a Payroll Senior in a fast paced team working on weekly payroll. This is extremely important as the team will pay over 30,000 people in 2 days, usually on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Must have excellent payroll knowledge and can manage processes. You will be required to take ownership of 30 – 40 payrolls each week including tax updates, P45's, balancing, reporting and payslips. This is a newly structured team with a new Payroll Manager with exciting opportunities. Ideally the candidate will have a CIPP practitioner certificate at either level 1, 2 or 3 or a similar qualification. Desirable skills are prior working knowledge of Northgate PS Enterprise payroll software. Processing of Real Time information, including electronic return of Full Payment Submissions (FPS) and Employer Payment Summary (EPS). Experience of working with robust and methodical payroll processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel to a reasonable standard. The hours are Monday to Friday, however, you will be required to stay until 7pm at the latest on a Tuesday every 4 weeks, this will be returned as half a day's holiday.
