Senior Nurse / Unit Manager - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse ( Adult Nurse - RGN, Mental Health Nurse - RMN or Learning Disability Nurse - RNLD ) to join our newly appointed Home Manager in making the service the best it can be. They are a very positive, friendly and supportive specialist care home for young adults with complex needs including mental health and physical health, neurological disorders, brain injury and complex dementia in Birmingham.

Salary: £18.00 per hour ( £33,696 - £44,928 per annum )
Hours: Full Time
Care Home Details: The Care Home is split into three 10-bedded units. The Care Home has a new Home Manager who is focused and driven about the home, he ensures that services users and all colleagues are given the best tools, surroundings and support to make every day better. He has provided stability to the service which is improving month on month. He's created a fresh dynamic within the team with a more supportive approach. He ensures regular supervisions take place for all colleagues and hold daily, weekly and monthly meetings for everyone so that all colleagues have the ability to express their views and suggestions. Consistency has been created by having nurses work on set floors and not across the whole home.
Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Care Home offers a structured and thorough 2-week induction programme, which will include various training courses. The Home Manager is making sure that all nurses are able to support all of the needs of the Care Home by providing training to all of the nurses and ensuring they are supported with their competencies. Nurses will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. The Home Manager is passionate about personal progression and development and fully recognises the effort of his colleagues. Nurses will have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the Care Home.
