Senior Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for driving our IT infrastructure forward. If you have experience designing, implementing and maintaining solutions within distributed cloud services, virtualisation, storage, networking and Office 365 to name just a few, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
You will be joining a small, but passionate and committed, team of experts delivering on all aspects of IT. This team sits within the Finance and Resources directorate as part of the Technology department, working to support activities across the charity.
Senior Infrastructure Engineer Requirements:
This role offers a wide exposure to a plethora of systems and services throughout our extensive estate, and will allow you to utilise your experience and creatively to drive forward our ambitious goals in support of the Technology and Charity strategies,
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of a customer service-based approach to providing IT services particularly within a small to medium sized commercially oriented environment.
• Experience of implementation, configuration, administration and support of the following key areas:
• Cloud Platforms
•Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and ability to use initiative, make decisions and to prioritise.
•Proven communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to communicate at all levels, particularly senior management with a confident and professional manner.

Job Type: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £51,000 - £55,000
