Job Description

THE ROLE:

-The role will provide cover for period of maternity leave, approximately 6-9 months
-Ensure delivery of consolidated Group results and assist the Head of Financial Reporting and Finance Director to prepare the Board and Executive Leadership reports on a monthly basis.
-Lead the month and year end close processes to ensure submission of accurate information in a timely manner
-Provide stakeholders with financial information for business analysis and reporting, including supporting the segments with the preparation of Management Information and Business Review packs.
-Lead production and review of the Group consolidated annual report and subsidiary financial statements.
-Provide technical accounting guidance to finance and the business, including support with the interpretation and application of new accounting standards and subsequent training required.
-Ensure integrity of the Group Balance Sheet.

-Due to the Covid-19 situation, this role will be home based until such a time when the finance team can return to the company offices

THE CANDIDATE:

*ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
*Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
*Experience of producing statutory accounts
*Good communication skills
*Experience in producing Board reporting (not essential)
