Are you a building main contracting estimator/senior estimator that enjoys developing up and coming estimators? If value engineering and developing junior staff is your thing, we have the role for you.

The Business;
Across the Research and Development, Commercial, Manufacturing, Automotive, Healthcare, and Education sectors, this contractor have been delivering work to the highest level over the past 50 years. Their project delivery capability and sustainable multi-sector model has led them to healthy growth over the past decade or so and will soon be seeing a healthy turnover of £200m. Working on projects ranging up to £50m, you'll no doubt be using every ounce of your commercial nous in getting stuck in to the technically challenging projects.

The Role:
As the Senior Estimator, you'll be working on the more technically demanding 1 and 2 stage tenders this company gets the opportunity to bid for. Within a team of 8, you'll have an abundance of support to do so and you'll also be given the responsibility of managing and training other team members. Tasked with keeping the sub-contract supply chain profitable and sustainable, this is a role where you'll be given the autonomy to make the commercial and relationship driven decisions that will bode well for your work, and the success of the business. Speaking of relationships, you'll no doubt be building a lot of those in the tender interviews you'll have experience with and continue to run in this business as the Senior Estimator.
