The Role

 

The Senior Enterprise Account Executive is a core component of their sales team. As the growth engine of the business, you will build out their commercial partnerships and secure additional customers in support of the client's revenue goals.

 

Their mission in Defence is to power the digital transformation that will empower our allied governments and warfighters. You will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end sales process with system integrator, technology, and government customers. In this role, you will work closely with Sales leadership to inform the client's Defence strategy and drive cross-functional initiatives with the Marketing, Product, and Innovation departments.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Generate a qualified pipeline of customer opportunities via sales outreach, marketing campaigns, and engagement activity (such as capability briefings)

  • Qualify and validate opportunities including delivery of proof of value

  • Establish commercial partnerships with system integrators and primes

  • Grow the client's public sector business

  • Drive program capture with system integrator partners and direct-to-gov

  • Development of strategic proposals based on industry trends, research, and intelligence

  • Coach and grow other members of the sales and go-to-market teams

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

 

  • Extensive experience in selling complex software solutions to enterprise customers

  • Ability to develop and nurture a strategic and mutually beneficial relationship with prospects and partners

  • Evidenced sales excellence, with consistent record of closing and a history of exceeding annual targets

  • A strategic thinker who can identify and prioritise new opportunities, markets and partners for growth

  • A natural ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively

  • A leadership mentality who can motivate others around them

 

Desirable

 

  • You have successfully executed capture and/or delivery of defence programs

  • You have an extensive network across the Defence community - inc. primes, system integrators, technology vendors, and government program owners

  • You have experience working across multiple domains and with various government customers - UK MoD and US DoD highly preferable
