The successful candidate will become part of an experienced and successful Credit Control team.
The working hours will be Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week and you will receive a competitive salary (depending on exp) plus additional bonus potential is available. Parking is available. Excellent benefits are on offer.
Role and Responsibilities:
Working as part of the Credit Control team you will perform duties including:
- Acting as deputy to the Credit Control Manager when required, as well as working closely with the existing credit control team.
- You will prepare regular reports on accounts, bad debts, insurance claims, as well as assisting in implementing process changes
- You will also ensure compliance with the credit insurance policy, build strong working relationships internally and externally, perform credit checks and undertake cash collection via telephone and letter and email
- Ensure outstanding monies are paid on time, reconciling customer accounts, reduce debtor levels, issue final demands etc
Previous solid experience working as a credit controller is required to be short listed for the role.
The role will suit a team-player with excellent communication skills and the ability to be persuasive and calm. You should have a methodical approach and be organised. This role also requires a good understanding of IT systems. Experience working as a credit control supervisor or team leader will be welcomed.
If you are qualified or studying with the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, or have any experience with trade credit insurance claims that would be advantageous although this is not essential.
