Accounts Manager/ Senior Book Keepers day to day duties include:-
*Managing a team of 7 particularly offering support to Purchase Ledger Clerks and Payroll Clerks
*Bank and Nominal Reconciliations
*Overseeing and supporting on multiple payrolls including monthly and weekly.
*VAT, Intrasat and EC Sales returns
*Monthly End Close off procedures
*Purchase Ledger Experience including matching invoices to Stock purchase orders on Sage 50
*Sales Ledger Experience including raising and posting of Sales Invoices and debt chasing.
*Dealing with multiple companies
In addition the Accounts Manager will be required to assist the Group Head of Finance in the day to day financial activities including, preparation of month end accounts, variance analysis, VAT returns, CIS Returns, EC Sales, Intrastat, bank and balance sheet reconciliation's, debt recovery, and preparation for year-end audit requirements. You will also monitor set budgets allocated to departments and liaise with budget holders.
The successful candidate will need to have extensive all around accounts experience as well as previous experience managing an accounts team. The client is looking for the candidate to have extensive SAGE 50 experience and strong excel skills we well as good organisational skills. In return you can expect to receive a basic salary of £35,000.
