Senior Admissions & Enrolment Advisor (Client Services)
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £25,000 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and focused Senior Admissions & Enrolment Advisor to join our friendly and professional Client Services team.
Working closely with the Admissions and Enrolment Manager, you will be responsible for providing information and advice to prospective students, and delivering an excellent level of customer service. You will understand and apply, or be willing to upskill and apply, the ESFA funding rules that apply to the College’s courses.
In this front facing role you will be responsible for responding to all internal and external enquiries in a timely and efficient manner, accurately processing enrolments and authorised data amendments, processing learner applications and organising interviews with tutors. You will also undertake initial student assessment interviews, process course offers in a timely manner and provide initial guidance to learners on financial and additional support opportunities where relevant.
You will have previous supervisory experience, as you will be responsible for coordinating the Client Services Advisors and Administrators, ensuring that tasks are allocated effectively.
The successful candidate must have:
* Previous experience of working in an education environment (ideally in Admissions/Student Services)
* Experience providing Student Funding guidance
* Proven supervisory experience, with the ability to work in a team but give leadership where required
* Excellent IT skills with previous knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel (data entry & reports), PowerPoint and Outlook
* Exceptional customer service, communication and analytical skills
Experience of the enrolment process in an FE environment, and knowledge of Fees, Funding and Residency processes would also be highly desirable
