I am currently looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to work for an independent firm of Accountants based in the Centre of Bristol.
This is a multi-Site practice the duties will involve travel to see clients and visit the other office in South Wales on the odd occasion you will however be predominantly based in Bristol
You will need to ideally be able to Drive.
You will receive a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 depending on your experience.
This is a great time to join this friendly firm, you must have Level 4 AAT or equivalent , be part ACCA or ACA or fully qualified/ studying or enrolled.
Hours of work Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Experienced in Iris or Digita, Sage, Xero and/or Quickbooks expertise (Desirable) with 4+ years finance environment.
You should have the Ability to cope with working on a portfolio in excess of 100 clients - with month by month and Y/E deadline targets.
Accounts preparation competence, leading up to and including Final Accounts to send and give Client advice
Experience of client tax returns is essential
Applicants may be required to demonstrate competency on packages detailed below during interview process.

o To reliably and accurately fulfil the above tasks
o Electronically and manually document all records in good methodical order
o Organise safe and secure backup information of all working data
o Concisely follow, relay and adopt good communication between staff, clients, suppliers.
You should have the below !
o Aptitude for Figures
o IT literate, conversant with Microsoft Office
o Respect and Maintain Confidentiality values
o Possess Full UK Driving licence and own transport (Desirable)
o Willingness to travel which involves nights away
Qualifications / Experience Required
o Experienced in Iris, or Digita, Sage Line 50, Xero, or Quickbooks. With Payroll processing knowledge
o Working knowledge of HMRC processes, filings and reporting / negotiating.
o English / Math Grade B or above and A level / Degree equivalent in Business Studies/Economics/Finance.
o Understanding of a CRM, I.T. and Microsoft Office Solutions packages, with at least competent level.
