Job Description

ABC Teachers, part of TES, are seeking an experienced SEN Specialist Teacher to work in an SEN school in Nottingham from November.

About the role:

Plan and deliver engaging and varied lessons to students, accommodating individual needs.
Working with students of varying ages from 4-19, with Special Educational Needs, including ASD and MLD.
Facilitate learning and monitor the progress and development of students.
Work in line with school policies and ensure teaching is continually developed for effective learning.

The school caters for primary and secondary aged students with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD and MLD.
Easily accessible from Nottingham and surrounding areas of the East Midlands.

A strong team ethos with supportive leadership, where the needs of the child always come first.
About you:

Suitably qualified to teach SEN pupils, with QTS.
Have proven experience teaching children and young people with Special Education Needs, including ASD, MLD, SLD and PMLD.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students.
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
