SEND Support Workers/Learning Support Assistant
Are you an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants/Support Workers who are looking to take a step up in their career?
We are currently recruiting for Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants to work on a 1:1 support basis in our SEND learning environments and are actively looking for individuals who want to make a difference.

Opportunity to develop professionally in your careerEmpowering Learning Ltd are looking for outstanding and experienced SEND Support Workers who are dedicated and passionate individuals who are looking for long-term role in our fantastic SEND Education settings. Our SEND settings caters for children to young adults from 5-25 years old with varied SEND needs such as Autism, Profound Multiple learning difficulties, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties, Moderate and Severe learning difficulties and Speech and language communication difficulties. The ideal candidate would have experience of working with young male adults and feel comfortable working with individuals with challenging behaviour.
To be considered for the Support Worker position you must have the following:
Experience supporting young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities.
Experience/willingness to assist with personal care - feeding, changing, moving and handling
Experience with PEG feeding/tube feeding
Ability to deal with paperwork and lead within the role
Experience and willingness to support individuals with challenging behaviour
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
