Competitive rates of pay depending on experience Empowering Learning are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within SEND schools based in Tower Hamlets supporting pupils with a wide variety of needs, in particular Autism. We are looking for dynamic and adaptable Learning Support Assistants, that will be able to support pupils on a daily basis in the classroom. Some of the pupils you will be supporting will have more severe SEND needs, so experience of supporting an array of needs would be desirable but not essential. You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, behaviour and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development.

Job Responsibilities

Supporting pupils on 1:1 basis

Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant or Classroom Assistant
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
Experience supporting Secondary pupils
Strong communication skills
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 5 days a week
