A provision in Cardiff which caters for pupils with Special Educational Needs are currently looking for SEN learning support assistants to join them from September onwards. Pupils are aged between 3 and 19 and have a variety of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Physical Disabilities (PD) in addition to some challenging behaviour.
As well as working with a personalised curriculum for students, you will help them make short trips out into the community and accompany them on work experience trips.

The school has a high staff to student ratio and are looking for someone who can work closely with individual pupils, often on a 1:1 basis. It will be your role to develop a positive and productive relationship with students but also families and other specialists supporting in the school.
