The roleAs a Semi Skilled Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will work closely with one of our partners, the London Fire Brigade.
Day to day, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing all defects on their fire vehicles. You'll aid the workshop with a variety of tasks in a safe and efficient manner using your skills and knowledge as required.
- Work in an efficient and productive manner, achieving the targets set out and agreed with Workshop Supervisors or Manager
- Operate a 'Fix First Time' way of working ensuring quality of work is at the utmost standard and meets/exceeds any inspection carried out against it
- Drive in a manner within the parameters of the law
Essential experience of the Semi Skilled Technician- Proactive
- Ability to work well in team and on own
- Ability to prioritise work orders
- Attention to details
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- PC Literate
This is a full time role based on site at Ruislip
Qualifications for the Semi Skilled Technician- NVQ Level 2 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance level for this role.
