ABC Teachers, part of TES, require a SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs at a specialist school. The role is to commence from November 2020.
About the role:
Providing help and support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Working with students of varying ages on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
Ongoing position for the right person.

Easily accessible from Derby, Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas of Derbyshire.

A strong team with a collaborative ethos.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students.
Suitable qualifications to support students with SEND are desirable, such as Youth Work or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
Have previous experience working with children and young people with additional needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
