Job Description

A Pupil Referral Unit in Stockport are seeking to appoint an PE Teacher to join their successful staff team. This is a full-time teaching role which will commence in September 2020 for the remainder of the academic year.

The role

The desired SEMH PE Teacher will be working with small classes of SEMH pupils. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers, working with smaller class sizes means that you will be able to focus on building a purposeful learning environment that meets the individual educational needs of the pupils, helping to narrow the gap for pupils who are behind where they should be.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Have experience teaching PE at KS3 and preferably KS4 level.

Have a genuine desire to work with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
