£90 - £120 per day  
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement for this position is a suitable qualification to teach i.e PGCE/BeD, with a valid QTS/QTLS.

ABC Teachers are looking to recruit enthusiastic Early Career and Trainee Teachers across Birmingham and surrounding areas, who are seeking to begin or complete the Early Career Framework from September 2022.

We will help you start your career at a time when children across the country need all the support that they can get and joining our NQT Pool will give you exclusive access to a variety of teaching roles in your local area.

Working for ABC Teachers will give you scope to work on a full time or part time basis, as well as having the option to work on a day to day basis, or in short term and long term positions depending on what suits your circumstances.

In the meantime, whilst you are still studying and waiting for your QTS to be awarded, we can offer you work as a Cover Supervisor which will allow you to experience different schools in your local area so you can find a school that is right for you ready for September 2022.

ABC Teachers work with a range of ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ schools in Birmingham and the surrounding areas who will be looking to recruit new staff for September 2022.

About you:

To be considered for the role of Secondary Teacher ECT Pool you will:

Have experience teaching in a secondary school setting and be able to provide references for this experience.
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of working towards obtaining QTS.
Access to references to cover the last 2 years of both Education and Employment.
Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check, unless already obtained.
Flexible and adaptable, open to working in a range of different schools in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Ability to drive is desirable but not essential for this position.
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
