Job Description

The Education Network is currently working with a school in search of a teacher of Science. The role is initially temporary from Easter - Summer, however there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be extended or appointed on school contract.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Science from Easter 2019, on a temporary contact. The successful candidate will be able to work across Key stages 3 and 4 and share our commitment to raising standards, expectations and instilling a passion for learning for all. The post is equally suitable for an NQT as well as an experienced teacher and offers an excellent opportunity to receive support through our comprehensive NQT and CPD programme.
The candidate will be an outstanding teacher with the drive and capacity to really thrive in this role and make a significant difference and is able to bring ideas, energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to securing strong progress and raising achievement of all students.

Requirements for this role:

- QTS or other UK recognised Teaching qualification.

- Experience teaching Science at KS3-4.

- A degree in a relevant subject.

- Experience in the classroom

- Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.

- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
