We are looking for a National Account Manager for a DIY and Power Tool business based in Somerset. Although the role is home based you will be part of an engaging, dynamic and energetic team.
Main duties include;
*Actively increasing the portfolio of National Account customers by identifying new business opportunities and managing the process from initial contact to enabling a successful trading relationship
*Driving new business, product listings and increase turnover within existing accounts
*Identifying opportunities and make recommendations that support the overall commercial strategy of the business
*Supporting annual budget preparations as part of team budgeting process
Ideal candidates will have the following experience;
*Retail account experience selling to wholesalers, independents and online retailers
*A background in Key/National Account management within the DIY/ construction industry
*Experience of pitching both products and marketing options to leading customers.
*Experience of managing customer accounts at a senior level and of significant value
The role is home based and will require travel across the UK, as essential to the day to day demands of the role. The successful applicant will need to travel to the head office in Somerset as and when required.
