Job Description

Sales Director - Specialist Boat Supplier to the Superyacht Industry

Our client is the leading independent specialist and supplier of chase boats and tenders to the Superyacht industry. Focussing on the needs of their clients, they work closely with Captains, Shipyards and Owners to offer and supply the best choice of vessel; enabling the yacht to devote focus to owners and guests. Managing the process for clients takes away the burden and time constraint, whilst supporting full creative input. Further to this, their clients are safe in the knowldge that they have a dedicated team for unrivalled support after handover and beyond.

Due to expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Director to join their small but growing team. This role will entail selling into the Superyacht industry dealing with, and selling to, captains of yachts. In the first instance the successful candidate will be tasked with following up on 'hot' leads with a value in excess of £1.5 million with a view to winning new orders (AOV £120K - £200K).

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the sale and aftersale process including, but no limited to, organising rigging, delivery, comissioning and handover.

The ideal candidate will already be selling and/or supplying boats/tenders into the Superyacht sector. It is ESSENTIAL that candidates have experience selling into, or working in, the Superyacht sector; and can demonstrate a proven ability to network contacts (ideally Captains) and develop lasting relationships within the Industry.

This company offers an unparralleled level of service, which of course is essential in the sector in which they opperate. Relevant candidates must be willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to maintain this level of service, which includes being available 24/7 when 'on duty' (NB there is a shift system in place).

The role is based in Poole and there will be significant regular and ongoing fully expensed travel to all the major Superyacht ports and marinas in Europe in the first instance.

In return the succcessful candidate can expect a competitive salary and generous OTE for the sector (please get in touch to find out more!)

Please contact Robert Hannan at Marine Resources for further information on 02380 633 399.

All direct / third party apllications will be forwarded to Marine Resources.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
