This is an exciting opportunity to join a Family-Run company who have been in business for over 30 years. They are seeking a Sales Administrator on a full time permanent basis working Monday - Friday 9am till 6pm. The company offers onsite parking and 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. The salary for this position is up to £18,000 dependent on candidate experience.

Main duties include:

Sales order processing - Inputting sales orders onto the stock management system
Contacting customers to confirm items, quantities, pricing and delivery dates
Liaising with the warehouse to ensure order fulfilment and timely dispatch
Keeping a record of out of stock products and liaising with the purchasing team to ensure orders are despatched as soon as products are back in stock
Filling the paperwork away using designated customer folders
Assisting in documentation chasing i.e. CMR, bill of lading
Liaising with customers regarding queries such as: Confirmation of delivery dates/ times if required, Notification of missing / damaged stock
Assisting in account management of current international and domestic customer base
Assist in forwarding requested information (photos, barcode information etc.)
Forwarding promotional offers / leaflets / stock sheets to existing customers
Attending SpringFair and AutumnFair (incl. two weekends per annum)
Liaising with third part logistics companies to obtain transport quotations
Liaising with operations team in order to obtain information requested by the third party logistics companies i.e. pallet measurement, order weights
Managing the Goods In email and answering urgent queries (with assistance)
Liaising with logistics companies to obtain urgent transport quotations for Goods In
Loading urgent purchase orders onto the stock management system
Checking, vetting and forwarding (if/as necessary) incoming emails from general company email addresses

Person specification:

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal),
Attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent data entry skills
Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and via email,
Good numeracy skills i.e. Understanding of basic foreign exchange rate

Progression
UK and Export Account Manager – Build a relationship with existing customers to build own portfolio of accounts
