Job Description

Growth and success has given this well established company the need for another person in their expanding Administration team. Situated near Stourbridge, this company specialize in the engineering of industrial filtration. Established in 1997 and showing great success in their industry.

SALES ADMINISTRATOR


SUMMARY OF JOB

To receive and review sales enquiries.
To cost and prepare sales quotations for spares orders and with guidance to quote stock and standard product orders.
Carry-out necessary follow-up and liaison with customers and agents and internal departments.


PERSONAL QUALITIES

Responsible to the Managing Director.
Can liaise with Clients, Agents and Suppliers at a level that is appropriate for duties and responsibilities.
Liaises internally with all departments, including Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Accounts.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer incoming calls.
Take & forward messages, offer Meet & Greet Services.
Receive Enquiries to sales & distribute.
Follow up on enquiries (in a timely manner) to gauge the viability of the quotation and any feedback for future enquiries.
Prepare Purchase Orders, & capture details in the purchasing log.
Register New Jobs.
Create Job Folders & validate PO's / Contract Review
Manage Spares Enquiries (when non-technical gaskets etc.)
Manage Stock / standard product orders (prepare information sheets & distribute).
Upon request support estimating by pricing enquiries.
Upon request support projects by placing enquiries.
Manage shipping activity, place enquiry, commit orders and prepare packing lists.
Copy and generally assist with the preparation of data dossiers (pdf's and stamping)
Distribute EIC news and event information internally.
Distribute marketing information to potential clients.
To receive and review Requests for Quotation (RFQ's) for the Companies products.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ideally from a sound administrative background, any knowledge of a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
Computer literate and familiarisation of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access is required.
Good personal management skills, disciplined in filing paperwork and keeping records.
Accurate with good attention to detail
Able to work under own supervision
Must be able to follow office procedures


Salary : £18.000 (increasing after successful probationary period)

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 08.30 til 17.00
Friday 08.30 til 14.00
