Collection Driver - Sunday's only
Competitive pay rates on offer:
Sunday - £13.91 per hour
Hours of work - 11:00 to 19:00

We are offering great rates for van drivers that will be committed to working with us and our client Royal Mail at their peak time.

Currently recruiting for of number van drivers/collection drivers to work based from Inverclyde and to support Royal Mail as part of the vital effort to support the collection of covid19 testing kits across the community. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and join in the national effort and resolve to combat Covid and be part of the effort to beat it.

Successful candidates will have the vital responsibility for the collection & return of covid19 testing kits from residential and business addresses in the local community and for their return to the regional Royal Mail, Mail Centre. With this being a dedicated campaign, we expect requirements and opportunities to last for 3 months and possible extension upon review.

Full training and health and safety guidance will be given as part of the assignment and will comply with the highest levels of compliance to government advice and guidance.

Start date: 28th March, with 1 full induction and health and safety training day prior to start date.

While working you will also build up holiday pay, be entitled to work wear, be paid weekly and there are other opportunities once this role finishes.

Successful candidates must be 18 and over, no more than 6 points and be able to complete a basic criminality check before starting the role.

Registrations for this role will be done online and interview slots must be booked with branch

The ideal candidate will be flexible and customer focused. You must be able to work alone as well as being part of a team and working with them. Due to the nature of the role we are looking for candidates that like being outdoors in all weathers whilst maintain a professional and upbeat attitude. Previous use of PDA is advantageous although training will be given.
