Job Description

Sheridan Maine is working with a dynamic, fast paced, global organisation, based in Newbury, Berkshire.

The Revenue Accounting Manager position is a key member of the senior finance team, working closely with both the Financial Controller, the FP&A team and the business.
Our client sell and manage hundreds of market research projects in a year of varying sizes and complexities and this role is responsible for ensuring that the revenue and direct cost accounting is compliant with IFRS15 and the O2C process operates in a robust and efficient way.

Working in a small team, you will be responsible for:

• Running the revenue process in NetSuite and associated systems
• Continuing to develop the revenue process and capabilities of NetSuite
• Driving efficiencies in the O2C process
• Assisting the billing and accounts receivable team with queries on projects, invoicing and billing
• Ensuring deferred revenue and accrued revenue reconciliations are performed and accurate
• Manipulating large data sets efficiently to assist analysis

Key skills and experience:

• Graduate Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years PQE
• Excellent communicator with an ability to explain and listen
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in output
• Flexibility and the ability to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Experienced in revenue recognition, ideally in a project based environment, and knowledgeable in IFRS15
• Experience of working in a multi-currency, multi-national environment
