We are looking to recruit passionate Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team of Support Workers based at Churchfield Avenue – Sawston, Cambridge

You may bring your creativity to the role. If you enjoy art, music or have any other skill or hobby you are welcome to create activities for the people we support to learn and enjoy. We have previously celebrated Black History Month, Chinese New Year, Bonfire night an many other occasions. We incorporate food, music, art, and dance in festivities. The scope is as wide as your imagination.

Part of the role also includes planning and supporting with activities outside of the house and participating in the community to promote skills and individuality. This may be a trip to the local shops or café, or it could be a trip to the zoo!

At Churchfield we support people to live as independently as possible. This will include budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.

Part of promoting dignity and respect will involve helping people to get ready for the day and some assistance with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom. Much of this is prompting and does not require the use of hoists
