They have a large portfolio of clients consisting of Primary and Secondary Schools in the Birmingham area, they require multiple Chef Managers to cover short and long term positions with the possibility of some permanent vacancies. They are requesting chefs who ideally have previous experience within the education or contract catering sector but more importantly chefs who are confident in their ability to produce high volume nutritious meals.
You will also be required to manage a team of catering assistants, assist the Ops Manger with menu planning, carryout basic bookwork and ordering, ensure healthy delicious meals are served on time and health and safety procedures are adhered too.
Level 2 is Professional Cookery is highly desirable and a minimum Level 2 in Food Hygiene is essential. Similar qualifications will be accepted. We do request a minimum UK experience in a Chef role and can only consider applicants who meet this critiria.
