Job Description


Reliability Engineers with an Ex Forces background are sought to be part of a newly formed modern manufacturing facility.


£36k - Multi skilled / £34k - Electrical or mechanical


Root cause Analysis and ongoing reliability of all plant across the sites.

This role will give a greater insight into the engineering function, working alongside
maintenance and engineering teams, management and the continual drive for efficiency.
This role will be hands on multi skilled working to a newly implemented PPM schedule.
The person must be self motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, happy to work on their own or as part of a team,
committed to improving the machinery and ones self. A person with honesty and integrity who is open minded with a good sense of humour.
Key tasks include:
Engineering background in a manufacturing industry preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Pneumatics and Hydraulic experience
NVQ qualifications or completed a time served electrical / mechanical apprenticeship
Knowledge of PLC’s (Siemens) (S5/S7)
AC & DC Motors / AC & DC Drives ( Inc encoders , resolvers etc)
Sensors of varying types ( Inductive, reflective, ultrasonic, etc )
Be aware of IEE 17th Edition regulations and / or have qualification
Be able to communicate at all levels making time to listen and value opinions of others
Awareness of TPM/PPM/OEE/5s
Scheduling maintenance of all machinery, including servicing, repairs, and inspections to a high standard.
Responsibility for the maintenance of all plant and equipment, both preventative and reactive.



Skills required:
Mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications, ideally with a mechanical bias; or time served apprenticeship
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing / production environment preferably working with high volume and bespoke products
Experience of using PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedules
The desire to learn in a challenging, fast paced, engineering environment.
