Salary: £22,500 per annum + commission
I am looking for a Relationship Manager to join a risk management company, in Tewkesbury.
We are looking for candidate with the right attributes to build their way in to the Insurance market.
Previous experience is not required but an ability to build rapport and business relationships is vital for the role.
The successful candidate will be required to build on and grow a base of cliental.
Although a business development focused role, there will be very little need for cold calling.
Responsibilities of the Relationship Manager:
" Work in a supportive function to Relationship Managers on current & future Enterprise partners.
" Develop relationships with existing referrers within these partners to maintain and improve referral rates.
" Build relationships with accountants not known to my client to find new referrers.
" Be confident in building rapport at director level and accountant/consultant level.
" Updating the CRM system with new contacts, calls, meetings, emails etc.
" Maintain accurate sales records and account plans.
" Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
" Contribute to teams monthly and quarterly objectives.
" Discuss and improve conversion rates with line manager.
" Advise on any initiatives that may generate further sales over and above those targeted.
" Offer insurance discounts and incentives to potential referrers.
" Attend relevant industry networking and social events to further expand network of contacts.
" Attending meetings with partners.
" Be open to working outside of standard office hours if required, even staying overnight in some circumstances.
" Opportunity to travel around the UK, destinations include - London, Manchester, Aberdeen, Isle of Man amongst other areas of the UK.
" Keep up to date with all developments within the industry, compliance and general contractor insurance matters as it relates to the operating processes of my client.
Requirements to become the Relationship Manager:
" To have the ability to build rapport for existing and potential company stakeholders.
" Be able to communicate excellently over the phone and in person
" Have a strong demeanour with the ability to sell and grow business
" Have a driving licence and vehicle
" No previous sales or business development experience is needed but a desire to move in to this area is essential
This role will be office based to start with and will then grow to being out of the office 1 / 2 times a week, where your aim will be to grow business.
