Registered Nurse ( RMN / RNLD / RGN ) - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified preceptorship nurse or experienced registered nurse RGN nurse (registered general nurse), RMN (mental health nurse) or RNLD (registered learning disability nurse) to work for a registered charity that provides nursing, respite care and day care for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities in Deal. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant experienced team. They are very big on staff development and training.
Location: Deal, Kent
Salary: £16.03 per hour (£31,258.50 per annum)
Hours: Full Time or Part Time hours available depending on preference
Shifts: Earlies, Lates and Waking Nights - you can choose depending on preference
About the Care Home: The Care Home is a bright, modern and purpose-built Care Home for 33 young people and adults. The Care Home has a hydrotherapy pool complete with high-tech sound and light systems for a compassionate sensory experience. Alongside therapies they run a programme of activities including sensory cooking, arts-and-crafts and music and we run regular activities and days out like horse riding, bowling and trips to the cinema.
Preceptorship nurses : In the case of newly qualified nurses ( Mental Health Nurse , Learning Disability Nurse and/or Registered Adult Nurse ), the Care Home offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.
Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Service offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the Service. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the Care Home. There are no limits to training and development as the Care Home will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
Person Specification : Applicants must be either RGN, RNLD or RMN trained and qualified, holding a valid PIN. More experienced nurses are ideally sought for. Prior experience of this service type is not required, if applicants are keen to learn and quick to pick up new skills.
