Coveberry Sherwood supports men and women with enduring mental health disorders and associated behavioural support needs which may disrupt their ability to consistently function independently or as part of a community, participate in employment, maintain positive relationships or cope with the demands of every-day life.

The service is situated on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre and offers a gateway to a diverse range of educational, vocational and social activities.

Our experienced, nurse led teams, work collaboratively to develop personalised care and treatment plans that seek to maximise community integration, independence, engagement and quality of life and support individuals to acquire or reacquire the skills needed to live more independently.


An exciting opportunity is available as Registered Manager for an experienced senior nurse/deputy/registered manager looking for a new challenge. You must be RMN/RNLD nurse with at least 5 years’ experience.

Coveberry Sherwood is a 16 bed residential unit with nursing for individuals with mental health conditions, some may also have dual diagnosis or learning difficulties and forensic histories. We aim for all individuals to achieve their own goals and have a high quality of life.

Duties of a registered manager

Ensure the delivery of high quality person centred care, Clinical lead for the service,

Quality and assurance audits and monitoring

Maintain excellent relations with CQC, complying with legal and statutory requirements

Work collaboratively with external teams

Recruitment and personal management, including rostering

With the support of the regional director to develop the unit’s service model to meet commissioning requirements

Maintain Health & Safety requirements

Provide visible strong leadership

Maintain supervision/appraisal systems, identify personal and team’s development needs

Personal skills required:

Qualified RNLD/RMN with a valid PIN and at least 5 year’s experience working in social care/hospital settings

Highly motivated, energetic and committed to providing quality care

Passionate and driven in developing the team
