Job Description

Network Healthcare are currently seeking a Residential Home Manager to work with our client in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis. The Registered Manager will be based in an already long established EBD registered Children's Home and will be expected to provide a positive living experience for 5 young people by caring for their physical and challenging emotional and social needs.

The Council's Change for Children Transformation programme, they are embarking on introducing five new Children's residential homes in Buckinghamshire. The residential homes will provide stable, effective placements for young people with challenging behaviour - providing them with a safe, caring community in which they can learn how to build positive relationships.

The Registered Home Manager will have substantial successful experience of leading the development and implementation of strategies and policy. You will have a focus on reviewing the effectiveness of change management ensuring measurable impacts of the lives of young people and their families within your residential setting.

You will provide young people and guide your team with emotional and social growth through devising and organising out-of-school activities, encouraging the children/young people to socialise and to join organisations outside of the Home.

You will co-ordinate the formation and implementation of placement matching processes for young people. You will work in partnership with families and carers of children, Social Workers and other outside agencies, as required.

You will have a Dip-SW or equivalent Diploma Level 5 CYP Leadership in Residential qualification and have the expertise to supervise residential managerial team members, taking responsibility of quality standards, Children's Homes Regulations, professional practice and levels of performance and ensuring that good practice is maintained.

You will also be required to manage and monitor budgets and delivery of good quality services based on current best practice and to drive service improvement where necessary. You will also have a proven track record of working in partnership with other agencies.

This position is offering a salary of £44,935-£47,407 per annum
