As a Regional Safety Manager, you will be responsible for implementation of Health and Safety policy and procedures across a multitude of sites in the Midlands and Yorkshire region. You will be responsible for visiting sites regularly, and auditing and advising against company policies and the internal safety system, accredited to 18001. As a result, a good understanding of the 18001 system and ideally the transition to 45001 would be a distinct advantage and extremely desirable. You will be responsible for all report writing and accident and incident investigations across the sites, as well as ensuring that all risk assessments are accurate and up to date including (but not limited to) COSHH, LOLER, First Aid, Fire and more.
You will have as a minimum NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent, although Diploma or equivalent would be desirable - as well as extensive and demonstrable experience of working within a warehousing or distribution environment, covering multi sites of differing sizes and complexities. In return you will receive a salary of 40-45k per annum (with some flexibility for the right candidate). This role is offered as a 6 month contract initially with potential for extension, or possible permanent opportunities.
