Regional Health and Safety Manager
Housebuilder / Construction
Reading (with easy access to commute across the M4 corridor)
£45,000 - £50,000 + benefits package (including company car / allowance)
Full time, 42.5 hours

HSE Recruitment have been engaged by one of the UKs leading housebuilders to recruit a Regional Health and Safety Manager. This role is based in Reading, but the successful applicant must be able to travel across 6 sites, all located within the M4 corridor, with ease.

The Regional Health and Safety Manager will assist the Head of Health and Safety in supporting and advising the management team and operations (projects) with all aspects of Health and Safety.

Alongside this, the successful applicant will:
• Visit all projects on a frequent basis to support and advise the site based teams, ensuring the highest standards of Health and Safety are met
• Provide guidance on codes of practice, management systems, statutory legislation and other necessary policies
• Manage all Health and Safety aspects in relation to activities, acting as the focal point for the business
• Provide assistance with the company training programme
• Ensure all accidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses are reported and investigated with conclusions drawn and action plans implemented to minimise reoccurrences

Qualification requirements for this role include:
• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Currently studying NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Construction, housebuilding or housing experience
• Driving License

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £50,000 + benefits package to include a company car or allowance, pension and support with CPD amongst others.
