Working 37.5 hours a week within the Nutrition and Dietetic Service in the North West, you will take on a clinical caseload across all the sites within the region. By the very nature of the role being regional, there will be a need to travel between sites on a regular basis with a degree of flexibility required.

As a Regional Dietician, you will provide compliance and assurance of CQC, Hospital Food Standards and any other government statuary standards related to nutrition ensuring that the North West sites meet their duty of care. You will work on regional menu work with catering lead and development of weight management strategy/services ensuring the quality of dietetic service is high and responsive.

You will be the main point of contact for all things nutrition and dietetics. You will advise the wider team on individuals' dietary treatments, nutritional statuses and treatment options, contributing to formulations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth.

Your main responsibilities:

To undertake nutritional assessment and formulate and organise nutrition and dietary therapy.
Provide guidance and plan interventions suitable for the service users' medical, social and cultural circumstances, based on clinical assessment and a sound evidence base.
Support professional activities, including the delivery of an assigned range of nutritional advisory activities, training and education which are evidence-based and tailored to the needs of the person
Undertake holistic nutritional assessments, including calculation of individual nutritional requirements.
Deliver services to medical and health care professionals, and others who influence food and nutrition issues
To work as part of the multidisciplinary team and liaise with the relevant professionals to ensure appropriate nutritional requirements are provided for the service users.To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Registered Dietician with relevant degree level qualification
HCPC Registered and able to demonstrate leadership and project management skills
Full Clean Driving license
Experience of working within a team and liaising with stakeholders
Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsWhat you will get:
