Reports to: Associate Director.
Purpose of the Role: To maximise sales and temporary gross margin within your area of responsibility through the timely supply of flexible employees to clients, providing service excellence to clients and candidates.
h Proactively develop new business opportunities by identifying and establishing relationships with existing and prospective clients (including networking with flexible employees)
h Manage and maintain an accurate client database and a programmed telesales campaign, including lead/prospect qualification, appointment making and business generation
h Promote all available flexible employees through proactive candidate marketing calls
h Enhance the national and local sales initiatives by ensuring all appropriate leads are recorded for action in line with the company business development plan.
h Promote temp to perm placements by proactively identifying permanent opportunities for flexible employees.
h Prepare and facilitate the ongoing attraction, selection and recruitment of suitable candidates ensuring we have optimum levels of flexible employees available to meet client needs.
h Screen, interview, assess, take-on and deploy flexible employees in line with Company standard operating procedures.
h Ensure all flexible employees have verified terms of employment and are aware and comply with client and statutory requirements.

h Ensure that all customer relationships are on a journey to achieving high road recruitment practises that are aligned to enhancing the lives of everyone that touches Blue Arrow.
h Maintain an accurate database by regularly updating temporary employee and client profiles through a structured contact management approach.
h Obtain full booking details (including all necessary health and safety information) and person specifications from relevant clients in order to maximise each opportunity for temporary placements.
h Ensure all clients have signed Conditions Of Business (COBs) and that all rates are in line with Blue Arrow expectations.
h Proactively match flexible employees to client bookings.
h Regularly review customer satisfaction levels through a diarised service evaluation programme in line with clients expectations.
h Arrange and attend client service visits.
h Support other temp and perm desks, including across different sectors as required.
Compliance - To ensure the region is operating efficiently and in compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards.
h Understand, communicate and ensure compliance with our legal obligations, company policies and Company expectations.

Demonstrate level 1/2 Blue Arrow competencies
Previous experience in recruitment or a similar sales/service environment
Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing individual
Experience in industrial or public sector recruitment
Persuasive with excellent communication skills and the ability to sell concepts and ideas by influencing others.
Self-confident and able to work within agreed standards and procedures.
