My client, a global engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture and operation of sophisticated bespoke drilling equipment in the Oil and Gas industry is looking for a temporary receptionist to cover from 21st March 2019 to 19th April 2019.
My client is looking for a friendly, proactive candidate who has experience in a front facing role to provide an efficient and effective frontline administrative Reception and administration service.

*To manage the telephone, taking messages and routing calls and handle incoming and outgoing post.
*Responsible for visitor management, including to meet, greet and carry out ID checks on interview candidates on arrival
*Provide an efficient and effective travel service in accordance to strict guidelines.
*Assemble Induction Pack folders and contents for new joiners.
*To manage the schedule of annual leave for the conveyance department.
*To provide cover for the Accounts Assistant in the event of holidays/sickness:
*Send out pension statements and updates to the Pension Scheme Members as required.
*To assist the on-site H&S representative, including coordinating training programmes. As a joint HR/QHSSE requirement, to assist in the administration of the roll out of the new 8 Gems programme.
*To type up information from Hazard ID cards (collected in new Safety Centres) into electronic format either directly on WPTS or in Excel in accordance with requirements.
*Responsible for uniform ordering.
*To carry out other administrative activities as reasonably required by the HR team.

Necessary Skills and Experience:
*Some travel co-ordination experience.
*Experience of receptionist/switchboard systems.
*RSA II - keyboard/typing skills, or equivalent.
*Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
*The ability to plan and prioritise workload according to requirements, working efficiently.
*Good organiser and communicator.
*Effective team player.
*Service driven and action centred.
