Job Description

We are currently looking for tutors to support pupils in either Years 1 2 or 6 in Maths, English or both in a primary school in Reading RG30.

This school is rated good by ofsted and has excellent facilities.

We’re keen to hear from Teachers and HLTAs who are interested in providing tuition on a 1:3  and 1:1 basis in a variety of our schools from the end of January onwards. Newly Qualified teachers (NQTs) or (ECT) who would like to develop their experience working with individuals or small groups of pupils would also be excellent.

Or maybe you are recently retired from teaching, but would like to offer support in your local schools to help the children recover from the loss of learning and the social impact of COVID-19.

You will work under the direction of the Class Teachers and Senior Leaders, to provide outstanding support to students.

We are looking for tutors who are able to work across all KS1 and KS2 tutoring core subjects Maths or English so excellent curriculum knowledge is essential.

The rate of pay is excellent for the role, we can pay between £25-£35 per hour via PAYE.

Once registered with us, our NTP team will talk you through the next steps, including completing the relevant modules to provide NTP tuition and ensure we have you working within our local school.

In order to apply for this role you must have the following:

• Reference information for the last five years & QTS Qualification

• Degree or 6 months HLTA experience

• UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of £40.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
