The role
The difference our new Quantity Surveyor role will make
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be accountable for the commercial administration of a contract (or contracts), ensuring compliance with the contract terms and conditions and company and group policies, procedures and delegated authorities.
Day to day, you'll take accountability for commercially managing a contract(s), providing a comprehensive and professional commercial service from contract award to completion. Deliver or improve agreed profitability and cash collections targets, ensuring change control and applications for payment are submitted in accordance with the contract and agreed in a timely manner, with minimal impact on cash flow. Manage and support, from commencement to completion, the provision of all commercial deliverables in line with the contract requirements and timescales (including supply chain contracts), monitoring the production of records, correspondence and documentation required to strengthen the company's commercial position.

Essential experience
BSc (hons) in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent qualification
Experienced in delivering contracts with value up to £5m
Effective communicator (written and verbal) and experience in negotiation
1-2 years experince in a Quantity Surveying role
