I am looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a the finance team, in Tewkesbury.
We are looking for candidate with proven experience as part of 13 month maternity cover.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for maintaining the purchase ledger.
Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
o Overall responsibility for maintaining the Purchase Ledger on Sage 50 for up to three entities.
o Ensure all invoices are processed, paid and filed in a timely manner
o Ensure Purchase Orders are raised, authorised and contain relevant detail for all relevant purchases
o Process a weekly payment run using E-Banking on Sage & import into the banking software
o Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations of the office accounts
o Process and pay company cash expense claims weekly
o Bank cheques
o Prepare and post monthly company credit card reports from card holders
o Regularly review the Aged Creditors balances looking into credit balances and old balances
o Production of monthly spend reports
o Collate data for the annual P11D reports
o Print and check Insurer payments for authorisation
o Other Ad hoc duties as necessary
