Pertemps Specialist Division are working with a leading company based in Musselburgh, who are looking for a Purchase Ledger to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing delivery notes and invoices for purchase orders
  • Obtaining authorisations from line managers for invoice payments
  • Following up on invoice queries
  • Ordering stock
  • Maintaining accurate supplier records (i.e. bank account information, etc)
  • Filing purchase ledger paperwork
  • Month end procedures (journals, disputed lists etc)
  • Keeping up to date with supplier statements
  • Dealing with the energy/gas supplier contracts
  • Adhoc duties as required

Key essentials:
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within a Purchase Ledger role
  • Excellent computer skills with Excel experience
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Highly organised and self-sufficient - able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and challenging environment working on their own initiative as well as part of a team
